The Computing Suite

The Bridgend Centre Computer Suite is a fully equipped self contained facility that allows visitors of all ages and skill levels to realise their IT needs. We have staff on hand who can help with any problems you might encounter along the way. At the Bridgend Centre we recognise that our computers are used for a wide range of applications and we have worked hard to setup a Computer Suite that is both quiet and comfortable and can therefore accommodate all our visitors’ needs. So even if you just want to browse the internet or check your emails you will always be welcome at the Bridgend Centre.  We will even make you a cup of tea to help you feel right at home. In order to cover the cost of providing this service there is a small charge.

Computer Courses

The Centre has volunteers who are willing to teach computer skills on a one-to-one basis for both beginners and those who wish to extend their knowledge. A friendly chat will establish your level of expertise and what you wish to learn and the lessons are then tailored to your needs.

Probably the best part of choosing to learn with the Bridgend Centre is that we work hard to provide a relaxed welcoming atmosphere in our Computer Suite and indeed across the whole Centre. One to One Learning

The Centre has expert volunteers who are willing to teach computer skills on a one-to-one basis for both beginners and those who wish to extend their computing knowledge. A friendly chat will establish your level of expertise and what you wish to learn and the lessons are then tailored to your needs.  Please get in touch with us and we will assess your requirements. There are however limited spaces available for one to one teaching and so we advise that you arrange sessions with us well in advance of your desired start time so as not to be disappointed.

Our one to one teaching is heavily relient on our volunteer network and so if you are proficient on any aspect of computing and would enjoy the challenge of helping others to gain your abilities then we would love to hear from you. Any time you could spare however small would go a long way to help the Bridgend Centre to fullfil its vision of community spirit where we all band together to help each other meet our common goals.
