The Computing Suite

The Bridgend Centre Computer Suite is a fully equipped self contained facility that allows visitors of all ages and skill levels to realise their IT needs. We have staff on hand who can help with any problems you might encounter along the way. At the Bridgend Centre we recognise that our computers are used for a wide range of applications and we have worked hard to setup a Computer Suite that is both quiet and comfortable and can therefore accommodate all our visitors’ needs. So even if you just want to browse the internet or check your emails you will always be welcome at the Bridgend Centre.  We will even make you a cup of tea to help you feel right at home.

We have a wide range of computer based learning packages to cater for the complete beginner through to more advanced computer users. Here at the Bridgend Centre we believe that the advancement of computer skills should be avaliable for all those who want to learn and should never be restricted from those with physical or computer related inability. One to One Learning

Although we encourage visitors to take one of our beginner courses to start them on their computing learning path, there are times where it is necessary to have an expert take them through their learning. If you feel you would be better suited to learn with the help of one of our instructors then get in touch with us and we will assess your requirements. There are however limited spaces available for one to one teaching and so we advice that you arrange sessions with us well in advance of your desired start time so as not to be dissapointed.

Our one to one teaching is heavily relient on our volunteer network and so if you are proficient on any aspect of computing and would enjoy the challenge of helping others to gain your abilities then we would love to hear from you. Any time you could spare however small would go a long way to help the Bridgend Centre to fullfil its vision of community spirit where we all band together to help each other meet our common goals.
