The Bridgend Centre holds fundraising events throughout the year. These events help bring the community together for a good cause. We welcome ideas for fundraising so if you are able to offer your help please contact us.

 The Bridgend Centre Events 2008

Car Wash Service at Recreation Ground on Wednesdays between 10 am and 2.30pm. Minimum donation per car £2. Weather permitting. April dates 9th,23rd and 30th. May14th and 28th. June 11th,and 25th. July 9th, 23rd and 30th.

Short Walks - These walks are held on the third Wednesday of every month. They are about three miles in length and take approximately two hours. All start and finish at Bridgend Centre and begin at 10.30am.

Moderate Walks - These walks are held on the first Wednesday of every month. They are between 4 and 6 miles in length, cover some hilly terrain and take approximately two and a half hours. All start and finish at Bridgend Centre and begin at 10.00am.

Refreshments are available at the Bridgend Centre before and after all walks. 

Friday 25th April, 8pm til late - Concert featuring George Borowski, Helen Walford, Theo Bowers and Mark Payne. Tickets are available from the Centre and cost £5.00 in advance or £6.00 on the door. Please book early as places are limited

Sunday, 18th May – Car Wash and Open Day.

Sunday, 1st June – Opening of 8th Nostalgia Trail, ‘Upstairs, Downstairs’. Exhibition 10am. Walk starts 10.30am. Please bring a picnic.

Sunday, 13th July – Bollington Nostalgia Hill Race. Race starts 11am. £5 entry.
