The Bridgend Centre holds fundraising events throughout the year. These events help bring the community together for a good cause. We welcome ideas for fundraising so if you are able to offer your help please contact us.

 The Bridgend Centre Events 2008

Sunday 12th July 11.00am - Bollington Nostalgia Hill Race followed by Open Day at the Bridgend Centre. See home page for details.

Car Wash at Bollington Recreation Ground £2,50 per car. Refreshments available in the Pavillion.  See Home Page for dates.

Guided, Graded Walks

Cost for all walks is £2.00 per person. Refreshments are included after the walk.

Please make sure you have suitable footwear, clothing and a drink for the walks.

Easy Walks  - These are operated in conjunction with Age Concern. They are circular walks leaving Bridgend Centre at 10.30am and are approx.2 miles in length.

Dates - 8th & 22nd July, 12th & 26th August, 9th & 23rd September, 14th & 28th October, 11th & 25th November and 9th & 23rd December

Moderate Walks - These walks are led by Macclesfield Rangers. They are about three miles in length and take approximately two hours. All start and finish at Bridgend Centre and begin at 10.30am.

Dates - 15th July, 19th August, 16th September, 21st October, 18th November and 16th December

Longer Walks - Led by staff from the Bridgend Centre. They are between 5 and 6 miles in length, cover some hilly terrain and take approximately two and a half hours. All start and finish at Bridgend Centre and begin at 10.00am.

8th July - 3 Shires Mill Walk - Textile Festival

5th August - White Nancy, Rainow & Walkmill Wood

2nd September - Water & Steam via Adlington

7th October - Ribbon of History Revisited

4th November - The 'Bee Happy' Trail

2nd December - Christmas Ramble Along the Ridge
